InDesign: Rechtschreibprüfung und Silbentrennung für Altgriechisch und Latein

InDesign ermöglicht die Nutzung von Hunspell-Wörterbüchern. Für Altgriechisch und Latein finden sich solche für nichtkommerzielle Zwecke frei nutzbare Wörterbücher z.B. auf https://github.com/mrakia/hunspell-ancient-greek bzw. auf https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/latin-spelling-and-hyphenation-dictionaries (die OXT-Datei muss noch mit einem UNZIP-Programm entpackt werden).
Zur Installation geht man wie folgt vor:
(a) Man lädt (und ggf. entpackt) die o.g. Hunspell-Wörterbücher.
(b) Im Verzeichnis AdobeHunspellPlugin (z. B. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2022\Resources\Dictionaries\LILO\Linguistics\Providers\Plugins2\AdobeHunspellPlugin)
fügt man in der Datei info.plist in die drei Listen jeweils die Strings <string>grc_GR</string> bzw. <string>la</string> ein. Diese Veränderung von info.plist ist nur mit Administrator-Rechten möglich.
(c) Im Verzeichnis Dictionaries (z. B. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2022\Resources\Dictionaries\LILO\Linguistics\Providers\Plugins2\AdobeHunspellPlugin\Dictionaries) richtet man die neuen Unterverzeichnisse grc_GR und la ein.
(d) In diese Verzeichnisse fügt man die in (a) gewonnenen Dateien grc.dict, grc.aff und hyph_grc.dic bzw. la.dict, la.aff und hyph_la.dic ein.
(e) In InDesign selbst kann man dann, wie bei allen Sprachen, auch für Altgriechisch bzw. Latein die entsprechende Sprache und Silbentrennung einstellen.
Hinweis: Beim Update überschreibt InDesign die Datei info.plist. In diesem Fall muss man Schritt (b) erneut durchführen.

InDesign: Spell checker and hyphenation algorithms for ancient Greek and Latin
InDesign allows the use of Hunspell dictionaries. For Ancient Greek and Latin you can find such dictionaries, which are free for non-commercial use, e.g. at https://github.com/mrakia/hunspell-ancient-greek and https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/latin-spelling-and-hyphenation-dictionaries (the OXT file has to be unpacked with an UNZIP program).
To install the dictionary, proceed as follows:
(a) Download and, if necessary, unzip the dictonaries mentioned above.
(b) In the AdobeHunspellPlugin directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2022\Resources\Dictionaries\LILO\Linguistics\Providers\Plugins2\AdobeHunspellPlugin)
locate the file info.plist and insert in all three lists the strings <string>grc_GR</string> and <string>la</string> respectively. This modification of info.plist is only possible, if you have administrator privileges.
(c) In the Dictionaries directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign 2022\Resources\Dictionaries\LILO\Linguistics\Providers\Plugins2\AdobeHunspellPlugin\Dictionaries) set up the new subdirectories grc_GR and la.
(d) Insert the files grc.dict, grc.aff and hyph_grc.dic or la.dict, la.aff and hyph_la.dic obtained in (a) into these directories.
(e) In InDesign itself, as with all languages, you can then set the appropriate language and hyphenation to Ancient Greek or Latin.
Note: When updating, InDesign overwrites the info.plist file. In this case, you must perform step (b) again.
